The Last Ship (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Many CDs, especially in pop, jazz and rock, or country, are something like short story collections. From time to time but is sometimes a musical novella on the market (or even a novel distributed to several recordings) - The Last Ship is an example of such a closed work of art.
Thematically it is about ships and shipbuilding, musically the subject of the first reflected to the last note, to a varied and exciting until the very end manner. From Schifferklavier (accordion) over the shanty-singing to the misty orchestral sound succeeds Sting, who on this album sings pleasantly calmly beyond to create a completely charming and dazzling atmosphere that is not boring or monotonous over the entire length.
One should do a favor to want to hear this is not the way. The Last Ship is best enjoyed on the sofa on quality headphones or speakers. Undisturbed. With leisure. So how to enjoy a novel or a short story. Then this is probably to almost every listener enchanted.
