Often one reads: "- ... must be refilled too often."
For this purpose a few data:
- The fresh water tank holds 1 liter (comparable larger models will be 1.4 to 1.7 liters)
- The bean container takes 180gr beans on (comparable larger models are about 200 - 240gr)
- The grounds container is full after 8 charges (is comparable larger models also otherwise)
So actually not really a lot smaller!
We are pure espresso drinkers (stomach friendly and less caffeine than regular coffee). Since a liter per day is more than enough. Who discovered the wonderful experience as a connoisseur's freshly ground coffee for themselves, should also always use fresh water and not stagnant water from the previous day. Therefore, one can eg Siebträgerautomaten usually fill only the amount of water currently required.
"-... The device is loud."
That can really only come from filtering or Padexperten because not going to grind coffee beans, except on old hand mills, never silently from, even in the most expensive models. We have previously used a Siebträgerautomaten and ground the beans with a separate electric mill. The XSMALL is much faster when grinding and 15 bar pressure 10 times faster in the preparation, so the bottom line significantly quieter.
The XSMALL on after 60 minutes of non-use in a standby mode, cleans itself and needs only about 1 watt / hour. Hence the afternoon espresso is saved without a long warm-up.
Most importantly, coffee and espresso taste fantastically well! We tested both, and even from normal Crema coffee beans she conjures next great coffee and delicious espresso. But will remain true pure coffee beans, because they are with the machine the ultimate experience. Since the XSMALL need not behind the more expensive big brothers hide, on the contrary, crema and taste for our feeling significantly better than in the 1500 - expensive machines an acquaintance. If you would still stir the sugar in the coffee, you could marry smooth :))
Hope this could help a little.
