I like it:
+ Very attractive and expensive-acting Design
+ The heating plates are nice and wide, so smoothing is faster
+ Can be the temperature as needed between 130 ° C and 230 ° C set itself
+ The straightener heats up quickly
+ The straightening iron has a locking for the two "arms", so the device can be stored in a space-saving
+ The key lock is a nice detail, but for me, not a must
+ The result I find convincing the hair in good condition despite natural curls smooth
+ My hair invite themselves after smoothing not electrostatically
+ The cable is attached nice and long and with a convenient swivel at straighteners
+ A hanging loop on the cord is present
Not so good, I find:
- It takes quite a bit of power in smoothing to press the heating plates together
- It had twinge repeatedly during smoothing, what bothers me very
- The housing is quite warm during operation / hot
- the price
All in all a rather average straightener, because I could find no real benefits to other (cheaper) devices. The infrared technology may seem so, but I can not say with certainty whether it acts / lot bring or not. A no go for me, however, that repeatedly caught when smoothing hair in the machine and it had twinge so, what with a good flat iron in my opinion should not happen. Also, the required effort when smoothing bothers me because I have rather small hands and not so much arm strength. The drawbacks would be perhaps to get over at a lower price, but with a straightener this price range I would have honestly expected more. Too bad, because actually Beurer is a great brand that I really appreciate.
