An adventure is often hampered by two points: The story and the puzzles. For me, especially the latter decisively. Because a story can still be as engaging or funny (preferably both) if I do not find the puzzles logical enough and therefore get stuck too often, it makes me feel stupid. And who wants to feel stupid even playing?
Still, games like Deponia and Satinav chains I liked to play, because with you both aspects have voted. At least mostly. Germany is by the way one of the few countries that produce more or a few classic adventure games. So it is not surprising that a German figurehead of television gives her Games debut just as Adventure: There is talk of Bernd the Bread.
Unfortunately, there is no longer visible in series Bernd and Co.. But for that in the form of the above-mentioned match: "Bernd das Brot and the impossible" is the debut Werkt where Bernd, Briegel and chili (I hope the authors also confuse always nice to each other by the acronym BBC) dress up as a superhero and crime enlighten. Bernd, the misanthropischste bread that ever appeared on my screen, of course, do not like all this. He would rather gruel sipping stare his woodchip wallpaper and be bored. Instead, he has to waddle in a non-breathable costume through history and find out who has stolen the statue of the "Erkältetenden, Skatspielenden Yak" with the chronically confused Busch and the manic sheep.
So who has feared the game would miss the famous Humor: No, he's there. Abundant. Not least because Norman Cöster, along with Tommy Krappweis inventor of speaking bread, responsible for the story shows. In some places the humor seems a little effort, especially when it comes to the meta-level, but even with the aforementioned genre classics also did not sit still any gimmick. But the humor is aimed at both young and old. While parents can laugh at some cryptic comments or quotes from popular culture, children are able to laugh at Bob's constant mistreatment by his environment. Although the course does not like Bernd.
The puzzles are of varying quality. Some are fairly self-explanatory, others a bit too tricky, so I had to use the included solution. Here are some puzzles (eg the paint pot in the park, later in the game) do not really designed to be flexible so that objects sometimes need to be added to later combine them with other cool things to make a really great deal about it. These artificial barriers can be frustrating when the solution was indeed clear, but transversely presented the mechanics.
But the story is told interesting and offers pleasant change. However, the fun is over after a few hours. For me it was pleasant, but I can imagine that this appears some adventure veterans who have spent between six and eight hours with Guybrush Threepwood or Indiana Jones a bit short. In return, the established world, in which Bernd explain and impossible crimes is excellent for the already known from Telltale Games Episode principle. So the Chaos troops to Bernd, Bush and the bovide Berserker in one to two-hour episodes could experience their adventures at the end of a "team" to solve the big case.
Apart from the small glitches the first (and hopefully not last) appearance Bernd on the screen provides an atmospheric, entertaining and really funny entertainment. In addition, presents the game in a jaunty lunchbox. And the envy of a surely every * r.
