an inspiring life

Milarepa is a reference to Buddhism in general, Tibetan Buddhism in particular and precisely one of the masters of the Kagyu lineage;
His life is an amazing journey, difficult, sometimes dramatic, illustrating the strength of the inner path, able to find happiness in the worst conditions.
It is also a wonderful example of devotion to his master, Marpa.
It would be unrealistic and even ridiculous to like him retreat into a cave to meditate, we do not have his background and are not of his time. It must inspire us against by his perseverance and simplicity, of great kindness footprints.
