Martin Orford warns that this album is not the seventies prog, he reassures himself that is. In the best case we are treated to a rehash of Asia Alpha period and in general the quality of the compositions rather poor (succession of arch-accrued agreements reshuffled harmonies)
At interpretation, Martin Orford appears happened to his limites.Sur the piano intro (digital, yuck!) Of "Prelude" has much feeling that sequence and inventiveness in the solos is miles away from a Tony Banks. By spock's beard against the rhythm section is impeccable and all the musicians of this album are sizes.
It is unfortunate that the quality of the music is not the same level as that of the musicians, because this kind of meeting is eminently likable.
An adviser to the album synthetic neo-prog fans and even rock-fm.
But as Martin himself, one can always whistling the songs in the shower!
In conclusion, it does "not break three legs to a duck," but delight fan of prog predigested fast food!
