I had expected quite a lot from this game because of the many positive tests after the previous set of NFS titles were not quite my cup.
And the game can really convince in many aspects and leaves the competition far behind. The vehicle selection is phenomenal! There really is something for everyone. The sports spin from all major manufacturers are represented. Audi S3 until Bugatti Veyron actually no desire remains open. And the route selection is the reason that this game from me receives 3 and not just 2 stars. Because in addition to the Nordschleife, which pretty much is good form in racing games that keep something to yourself, even Spa-Francorchamps is represented in the racing calendar! And I find that incredible, because this route I've often missed in racing games.
Thus, so the game offers a wide selection of vehicle and also the two most beautiful circuits in the world, so where is the problem?
First there is the extreme load times! Especially in the beginning, in the shorter race, charging takes much longer than the race itself. And even in later events you can easily go to the toilet during the loading times. And that's really unnerving !!
Another point of criticism is the behavior of the enemy for me. While it's really cool that they make from time to time errors and one rushes past often at a lädieren car, but overall driveability of the opponent is very "rail-like". They come from the most accidents out much better than oneself, but ok, there is really worse!
Because my biggest gripe is the handling of the cars. I really have been playing a lot of racing games, whether real simulations (Live for Speed) or arcade-heavy racers as Race Driver, but this is something I've never experienced. The ride is spongy-soggy !! And no matter how many times my EA says that it is a simulation in this game, so a car is not easy !! It's awful! Only the spongy would indeed be not bad, but I get no feeling for the car and so this game is dead on time for me. It really reminds me incredibly hard to describe how incredibly imprecise control is!
The three stars are there mainly for the scope and one star alone for Spa-Francorchamps. I do not keep going to the game though!
