After their last melodic rock masterpiece "Address the Nation" HEAT have now refilled and loosely held to the standard of its predecessor! "Point of no return" is a very good place to start, followed by the catchy single "A Shot at Redemtion". But what comes next. is just awesome! Songs like "Inferno", the theme song or the kitsch ballad "All the Nights" are hard rock gems of the extra class !!! The entire CD is without a failure to make ends meet and keep until the end with "Laughing at Tomorrow" raised the bar very hoch.Wer stands on bands of glohrreichen 80 (Skid Row, Def Leppard and co.), Will love this disc. HEAT are just fun !!! Looking forward to the tour in May ...... ADDENDUM ... !!! Have seen the band live in Stuttgart ... HAMMER ... !!! The new songs come live over much harder and is convincing across the board. The band exudes a playfulness and reminds me of the early days of Skid Row ... just Geil ... !!!
