Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical with this once again a masterpiece succeeded. It has beautiful ballads, but also with some discordant sounds that correspond to the story of the musical.
By the total recording the important intermediate parts do not get lost, make Webber's music so unique.
This musical is not so much in the tradition of Cats or Starlight Express, which offer yet more classic pieces. What is surprising is to unusual sounds that might inspire only the repeated listening.
The choice of the singer on this recording has succeeded. Especially the part of Che is well staffed with the smoky voice of the singer.
