First of all, Nesbo's new novel The Son is not just a spin-off of my favorite anti-hero Harry Hole. Sonny is a character of its own with a great personality. Once you start reading the book you simply can not stop. I simply had to read it in order within 2 days to find out about the mole and the Twin. However, de onlything That ruined the - imo - outstanding book which Simon's wife Else. Her revealings in the Last Chapter seem to be a bit strange and left me wondering why she had kept the information to herself for a Long Time. That Seems quite unrealistic or unbelievable, well at least to me. But overall an addictive and excellent piece of crime fiction. Hopefully, there's more to come.
