Of course, there is a one or two songs that I (still) do not find quite as good - but sometimes a Kylie song needs a certain time until he likes me convince completely (in the past was the example in "Loving Days" "City Games", "Heart Beat Rock" or "No More Rain" is the case).
Basically benefited from the album "Executive Producer" Stuart Price. Although a variety of songwriters and producers with Kylie have worked to keep breaks in style back nobly. And yet, not listening to each song as the previous. Criticism of "X" appears to have fallen on fertile ground.
Here is a review of each song:
"All The Lovers" (**** / 4 out of 6 stars)
not disappointed as the lead single. Unlike, say, "2 Hearts" holds "All The Lovers" in my opinion, the album together quite well.
"Get Outta My Way" (***** / 5 out of 6 stars)
would have been a perfect summer single, now it comes out unfortunately only in September. As years of fan I schmunzele about the renewed reference to "Spinning Around".
"Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love)" (****** / 6 out of 6 stars)
reminds of course a bit of "Love At First Sight", without being a bare copy. My favorite on the album.
"Closer" (**** / 4 out of 6 stars)
lives of the 80's synths. White me please without which I could call right now, what I like exactly.
"Everything Is Beautiful" (*** / 3 out of 6 stars)
the first song that made me not quite convinced. Here I am still confident but definitely.
"Aphrodite" (***** / 5 out of 6 stars)
I could imagine the first number for the next tour. A Kylie-march with a text which projects to recite Min matches: "It's the truth, it's a fact I was gone and now I'm back.."
"Illusion" (*** / 3 out of 6 stars)
For "Illusion" is considered the same as "Everything Is Beautiful". Since I need some more time.
"Better Than Today" (**** / 4 out of 6 stars)
Here I am a bit perplexed. Sounds kind of like a typical Kylie song, and yet he has something totally untypical se. I can not say exactly if I really like the song or not. So far, more "Yes".
"Too Much" (***** / 5 out of 6 stars)
Kylie has composed with Calvin Harris and Jake Shears. Harris has the whole production. Who "In My Arms" liked could love "Too Much". I do it anyway with all my heart.
"Cupid Boy" (**** / 4 out of 6 stars)
recalls almost to a song by "Impossible Princess", but is still "catchy". The guitars are times as something quite different in a Kylie title.
"Looking For An Angel" (** / 2 out of 6 stars)
is the weakest song on the album for me. But maybe my opinion will change here as well?
"Can not Beat The Feeling" (******* / 6 out of 6 stars)
is to "Put Your Hands Up" my second favorite song on the album. Again, "listen" to the summer. And it is a typical Kylie song, the addition also reminds me about a bit of Daft Punk and David Guetta. For this, the cowbells, just great ...
