As an independent title saw a great game, but ......

To first of vorwegzunehemen: The new Tomb Raider is by no means a bad game, and I want it, too down brushing or otherwise "denigrate" no, but I will also beware of it with enthusiastic praise to shower because one thing is clear and this is my whole My personal opinion: The best Tomb Raider game is definitely not for me!
Best I start first with the positive things, and of which there are also fortunately already quite a lot. Ertsmal I find the "new" (or rather young) Lara Croft super sympathetic, she is much more human, more vulnerable than in its predecessors. Thus, one is suffering with more and can idendifizieren more than the invincible TAFFEN® superheroine from the old parts (which is not to say that I have the old Lara disliked). The voice of Nora Tschirner fits me perfectly well, however, many other opinions I think that here is a very good choice was made. Another plus is the absolutely brilliant graphics and the bombastic staging. The cutscenes look real cinema ripe and partially it seems as if you are currently watching a blockbuster ....... so by staging the Zwischenseqenzen the graphics and the speakers there from me also nothing to complain about .... The control also plays like butter, because there is really absolutely nothing to complain about, I could deal with any case of control to 100 percent ...... This all sounds schonmal very chic, but ..... we come to the things that I do not have so much.
What I did on Tomb Raider always particularly liked was the unique mysterious and mystical part already threatening atmosphere when godforsaken with Lara alein old temple has scoured abandoned tombs and ruins gefähliche .....
The best examples are there for me the first part, then part 4 The Last Revelation, and the Anniversary remake of the first part ....... This atmosphere and the magic and mystery of the earlier parts are missing in this title, unfortunately, almost completely !!!
The focus is too much and vieeeeeeeeeeeel rummballern placed on Action explosions and that was, in my opinion, never what has awarded a Tomb Raider game.
In the beginning, I must say, I also found the game more absolutely awesome, I really thought that determined the Upper Burner.
But at least after I arrived in this shanty town and have felt the 10000. opponents blown upside down inside 10 minutes I wonder: Does that really emulate much with Tomb Raider ??? Sorry, but the whole thing feels more like a cross between Resident Evil 4, Uncharted, and an ego Schooter with Lara Croft as the main character. Grave robbers Feeling comes this really rarely on, and that's only if you have a secret endeckt grave.
Puzzles come in the new Tomb Raider almost no, only in the optional secret graves which one end finish is a single room with a small mystery, un are also done quite well but after 10 minutes you have the thing already mastered .. ..and it goes back into the next battle or the next opponent Horde which must be niermetzeln .....
Variety is there already in the form of Spungeinlagen or Zwischenseqenzen, but as I said, the focus is too much given to Action mesentery explosions etc etc etc ..... and so that I can in a Tomb Raider title simply befriend not, because sorry, that just does not fit. But this is probably a matter of taste ...
Conclusion: Taken as a standalone title very very well staged bombastic and playable, but by the magic and the atmosphere of an Old School or Anniversary Tomb Raiders unfortunately is not much left ...... but at least still me 3 well-deserved star.
