"As in himself finally eternity ..." does not change. Twenty-year career, Tim McGRAW reiterates, once again, his invariable formula that will take him to the top of the charts and sales. From the first track ("Halo"), the die is cast: yarrow guitars (a curtain that blocks the horizon of the sound image), unfading voices (the instantly recognizable stamp). There followed eleven titles (mostly mid-tempo) that will not add to the career of this father figure of the New nashvillienne country. This is what you would expect: Tim did the job ... He signs, once again, a health CD "My best album ever". It's very product (GALLIMORE Byron), wonderfully played by expert musicians, Faith HILL has to do his usual featuring. Little surprise, as a duo with NE-YO (a pleasant stroll where the voice of the little R'n'B crooner is not ridiculous though it is properly overwritten by that of Tim). What more? McGRAW Tim is a great artist whose integrity is total. However, we can easily prefer a country, so BROOKS AND DUNN, more muscular and vocally (Ronnie Dunn requires) more charismatic. Still, "Emotional Traffic" is a great record of mainstream country and Tim McGRAW, easily tempted by a career in acting (the very good "Country strong"), is still one of the biggest in the country of aujourd 'hui.
