Well, our son is 5 years old and very fond of construction vehicles, so I was responsible for setting up, my son (and my daughter also, although the horses are not visible ...) for the remote control.
The structure is - Lego typical - to create very good with a little discipline (discipline because one is often tempted to take certain steps in advance what then fast times leads to a dismantling if the model at this point a not symmetrical is ;-)
Unlike previous models, this big monster is described in only one building instructions, which for nearly 200 Bausch Ritten quite thick fails. Annoying is, in my view, that the parts are housed in many different bags, but all bags must be opened almost immediately. The logic of the bag filling does not open up to me after the 3rd large model. By the amount of different items you must either have a really big table, or are constantly looking despite categorization of parts for the right dish.
However indeed this search fun, so no, I prefer it from no stars :-)
In the assembly instructions, the original vehicle is also displayed, which you can gain an impression of how amazingly true to detail the model is.
All in all, I needed about 11 hours to build to build intermittently (Essen, guests ... just at Christmas?).
The battery cover on the remote control are locked with small Phillips-head screws, a suitable screwdriver is not included, but not so exotic that it would not raise the average household - just like the batteries (6 x AAA, 6 x AAAA), but the are indeed mentioned on the packaging.
The model is fairly robust, though not comparable to ordinary radio-controlled model cars, but can the interested eye but recognize all relationships exactly how the pistons move in the engine, as does the power transmission to the lifting mechanism and so on.
My two children are playing enthusiastically, and that no tears flow is mainly due to the fact that even a crane and Unimog are available ;-)
