Good "troublemaker depress round," the author knows fun with this inauspicious topic: Colonel implements military strategies for his pathetic suicidal troops, German hooligans are routed, both characters play souls to poker ... The tone is to absurdity and outrageousness. He plays on the ambivalence of the group, torn between his suicidal tendencies and yet his instinct for survival and making it a true comic relief. Thus the group is outraged when he learns that one of the characters is actually a contagious and incurable disease and had not warned. The author happens to not be superficial despite the lightness of treatment, indulging in passing his thoughts and even some environmental considerations. This gives an incredible tale to be too philosophical but not serious enough to be insignificant.
