After about 4 months of use in our Non smoking household, noticed that loomed bright spots in dark scenes on the screen. When you press the focus of the projector, these spots could focus, and it became apparent that it was obviously a question of dust. Cleaning the lens managed not help, the dust had therefore somehow gets into the light path. This should not really happen at a DLP projector, as the light path should be enclosed. Here, however, a number of about 10 grains of dust had accumulated.
Since this is still badly affected the image quality, dark scenes were no longer to be considered, I let the projector from BenQ pick up for repair. After quite exactly 3 weeks I got back the unit. Obviously, a cleaning experiment was conducted, there were still dust particles in the light path. Since I was careful and in the next few days from time to time looked after, I realized that after 14 days new dust particles were been added again.
Due to this significant Problemes, and because it probably arrives at a beamer primarily on image quality, I can only give such a poor rating to persuasive se device unfortunately.
