The content is quite interesting, both the historical context and the life of Avicenna, but the narrative style is boring or quite limited: the author has sought to reproduced oriental style (supposed?) And descriptions romantic / sexual relationships look like Harlequin. In short I read diagonally to know in outline the events, but "flipping" much of the narrative.
