atypical grisham

As it is embarrassing! I am both disappointed and pleased. Disappointed because Grisham admirer since his first novel, I expected one of his fascinating stories of court intrigues of the Deep South in his universe, a new struggle against an all-powerful company, which intelligence triumphs money and prejudices ... Alas, alas, alas, by opening this book I find myself immersed in the middle oh Abscon American football, the rules and even the vocabulary escape me completely. Yet I continue courageously to find myself alongside a "sport" American almost caricatural disoriented in a charming small town in Italy (small, Parma: 150,000), which earned me a laudatory description of the kitchen Local, which is not completely unknown to me (parmesan and Parma ham, of course), it's actually NOT a discovery ... And still no legal intrigue ... But the description of this confrontation, classic itself, an ordinary man, fed his old prejudices, with the customs of a foreign country is so humorous that I forget my first disappointment. Indeed, one wonders a joke (very nicely) Grisham, well quiet Americans or Italians, too inflated their national pride (and even regional ...). And, ultimately, I was delighted to read that, while having a little feeling to discover the talent of an author who was unknown to me.
