Now I could test this bridge model from Canon.
The first impression:
Positives:
1. The keys make a decent price for the impression.
2. The camera suits me well in the hand, everything is easily accessible. However, I have rather small hands. You'll have to try it yourself.
3. If this is not your first camera, the operator sets no major problems. Everything is legibly labeled and self explanatory. As I have been photographing for a long time, I can not imagine how a novice assesses the operation myself.
4. It is clearly shown, on which area the camera focuses.
Negatives:
At first glance, everything looks good. In detail, I have but then found weaknesses that I would not have expected Canon:
1. The battery compartment cover does not give the impression that I would like to open often. According to the ideas of Canon I must however: The battery can not be charged inside the camera. The memory card is located, as in this camera class usual behind the cover. And transmitting the pictures to my computer is neither a cable nor the camera has Wi-Fi. So I will apparently push the memory card in my PC in order to download the images. Here is expected for my taste too much personal initiative by the user, because I want to get me cable for transferring to the PC or to view on my TV separately.
Unfortunately 2. Software is not in, but can be downloaded from our homepage.
3. When you are at it, download the manual and the same down. The accompanying manual is called "Getting Started" and has all eight pages. This allows you to operate the camera roughly.
4. The zoom lever, the mode dial and the dial with which you always have to make adjustments, do not make a simple cheap impression, convince me.
5. The tripod mounting hole may be ok, but is attached to the primitive way that I have seen so far in a camera.
6. The speed in which is focused is clear to me too slow.
The picture quality: If it would not stand it, I could hardly believe that it is the product of a well-known manufacturer:
Positives:
Since I can not emphasize especially. Too bad.
Neutral:
1. The fact that the colors are oversaturated, I can barely accept. This is in the lower consumer sector widely It provides for. As for a blue sky, how do you get to see him on postcards. I can just vote with the ruling "neutral".
Otherwise, I find the picture quality as shockingly bad, because
Negatives:
1. Under sharpness I understand something else. In grades I come here just to be sufficient.
2. As soon as the lighting conditions are not optimal, you can see noise. Poor. Indoors therefore not suitable for me, a movie much less, than in a photo.
Audience: I have no idea, for which target group this camera was designed.
Committed photographer:
1. The image quality is not nearly enough.
2. There can be no separate flash are plugged.
3. There is no viewfinder, the simple, moderately-resolution display is permanently installed.
So I had on a sunny November afternoon, depending on the sunlight already difficult to discern on the screen, which image section I have set; or what shutter speed / aperture combination is to use the camera. I do not want to imagine how the z in midsummer. B. in Rome would be my ...
4. The camera is too slow to focus the camera and sequential shots.
5. iso and aperture range satisfy only simple requirements.
6. dials make a rather cheap impression. Whether that are really designed for the Number of photos that require dedicated photographer?
Photographer for social media:
1. Without WLAN will go complicated, upload photos to social media.
2. The quality at non-optimal lighting conditions hardly enough here.
Family:
If the whole family uses a camera, a simple operation is essential. Which is given. But:
1. The lack of image quality is the trimming of finished photos extremely narrow limits. Photographing young children, but that would be my experience desirable.
2. cordless and wireless transfer of photos / movies to a computer is not really suitable for families.
3. In the hands of children, I would not put a camera with these dials ...
Conclusion:
Fail. And I say, after all, as someone who has the best camera sees in his mirror reflection from the same manufacturer that he ever had.
