After a first volume which had still left me on my hunger, I enjoyed this second part, which, after a first half a little repetitive finally accelerates the pace. I especially liked the character of Cord, the new "protector" of Senna and the version under "all beautiful rosy" witches: far from the nice bright idea of women close to nature and blah of the first volume, we realizes with this opus that they are not so good as they claim and that some tribes actually have good reason to hate them. However, Senna becomes a bit annoying with his side "I am the strongest, the witch who think poor people ect ..." Ditto for his relationship with me Joshen confined to total boredom. Fortunately, the introduction of a new dynamic in history, new powers Senna and her relationship with Cord are all interesting points in this suite. So in the end, I generally enjoyed although I still consider that this novel is more suited to a teen audience / young adult, for me it lacks a little salt (sex?). A special mention for the last 50 pages that are just stunning! Although I would not have made the same choice as Senna, I think this is perfectly logical end with its evolution and his character matures there.
What I like: the character of Cod, with its dynamic Senna, the dark side witches. The end
What I like least: sometimes too lengths, particularly on the learning side of witchcraft. The relationship Joshen / Senna I can not find enough thrust.
In brief: A second volume that is gaining depth, thanks to the appearance of certain characters like Cord, and a vision less pink witches. Perfect for a young audience
