This compact camera is based Nikon (exclusively) on car functions and consequently on the "Point-and-shoot" photographers who wants to capture the moment and does not have a head on settings or manual intervention. What makes the S9400 then but for the snapshot hunters interesting are the 450mm focal length. The 450mm telephoto already offer interesting potential, the simple operation (my two 9-year-old twins have the S9400 just in extensive test program) provide no headache or question mark, and the results are quite acceptable for a camera of this type.
