The K-7 is a really high-quality camera, which is very high quality and top-processed compared to many competitors. That was also one of the main reasons for me. I am happy holidays technically go in Africa and as the K-7 is sure to have no problems in heat, dust and dirt!

The criticized in some tests higher noise at high ISO values, I can not determine. I have made some pictures in low light situations and am very satisfied. For me the whining at a high level. Perhaps the professional noted that bothers me and does not affect it.
Pentax puts more emphasis on detail and therefore we accept the traditionally somewhat higher noise. Is me rather than a soft-washed image of competing cameras with much less detail. The noise can also retrospectively if necessary edit them, but no longer reinretuschieren missing details into the picture ...
Another positive aspect is that the camera is super in his hand, just gives a good feeling, taking photos and sympathetic dimensions has.
