The radio is only average for my taste.
The sound quality is good, Bluetooth works fine at first, but that was actually.
My radio is now a bit dated, and the fact that the control panel is a bit worn, it just seems cheap. However, new look and feel have worked not very valuable.
Operation / menu navigation makes me though no problems, but intuitive and easy is something else. A quick access to Equalizer functions missing. This must be done via the setup menu everything. If I want to do, for example back quietly, so that the dog is not so much sonicated I must hold the Menu button for 2 seconds and then click me through the menu until I find somewhere to Fader.
The intensity of the illumination can be regulated. Even a dimmed night mode is available - as far as first positive. But: The dim night mode can be either manually via said setup menu change (a lot of fun in the rush hour at dusk on the highway!), Or automatically. However, the automatic functions on the vehicle lighting: light to -> Night mode on. As probably the most customers in many countries like, which also needs to be driven with light during the day? I always get anyway with light, and thus the function is absolutely useless. The radio has a clock. It probably would have been easier and cheaper to solve the time-controlled via software or a light sensor.
The radio reception is not perfect. Here in Berlin, it does not stand out, but in Thuringia I have heard always HR3, and the rushes but then occasionally. With many other radios is the problem.
The biggest point of criticism is, however, as already mentioned in some other reviews, the navigation through the USB flash drive. That reminds me of a really nix. Folders with subfolders, it is best completely renounce, otherwise the overview is lost immediately. That is not up to date and it was actually also never been.
Or whistles completely on USB and plays the music via Bluetooth from your phone. This works at least.
On the app from JVC I'm not a separately because it is completely unnecessary. All this happens with Android-board means, or other players from the store, as well or better.
If an average radio with good Bluetooth connection and many half-baked features that do not work very well thought out the bottom line. Nothing is really bad or does not work at all, but enthusiasm solves this device not with me.
