I have this vacuum cleaner now for two months. The system of bagless suction with AC and especially washable filter has proven itself. However, the filters have to be cleaned very often in my opinion, if you besides the normal household dust once would absorb much finer grinding or renovation dust eg. Here, the filter set to immediately.
The suction power is unfortunately only average; on smooth surfaces it is quite good, but as soon as a carpet or rougher material is swallowed, the device quickly reaches its limits. But even on smooth surfaces with clean filters can even sometimes make problems bigger granules or pebbles.
The regulation of suction power through the adjustable opening in the intake manifold I find unnecessary gimmick; the difference is minimal.
The vacuum cleaner is very loud for today's standards; the neighbors will be a resent at least on Sunday.
Emptying the dust container and changing and cleaning the filters is straightforward and easy to handle. Unfortunately, the filter sleeve leiert around the central lamellae filter after a few "washes" by hand, so that they no longer surrounds the central Amelle filter tightly. Here you can easily manage but with a somewhat stronger rubber band or ring.
A big advantage is the fact that all the filters, even easy to remove the covers and the dust container and can be cleaned moist at all times. The dust container itself can be from time to time and keep at rest in the dishwasher or wash out completely in the bathtub.

For me, the device has three major disadvantages:
1. As with many vacuum cleaners the power cord is too short. Who has an old building with larger rooms, will notice this quickly. I can basically vacuuming with extension cord
2. The supplied carpet brush with rotating bristles is a joke! The rotating brush head is just 10 cm wide. Just try to make a 30 square meter room to clean carpeted. That takes and makes crazy in the head!
3. The telescopic rod is too short like me for a quite large man, even if it is fully extended. I had to use my old vacuum cleaner a piece of the suction pipe, so I do not get back pain after prolonged sucking. Obviously the manufacturer has incorporated "smaller Housewives" in his audience.

However, all in all, this Dirt Devil a favorable price for the device, if one is not too large demands on a vacuum cleaner and requires him only for everyday needs. Wehr but more money would spend and wants will surely find better-quality products.

Now it's been two years that I have the Dirt Devil. Meanwhile, he has become nothing but an annoyance and coming soon to the scrap!
Even with fresh leached and thoroughly cleaned filter fleece, gesäubertem plate filter and knocked out engine intake and exhaust air filters are constantly lit the red light that filters are dirty. The filter tile are worn only once after washing and must be fastened with rubber bands provisionally on the filter sleeve. I even as it is not very clever man a dart with a needle and thread to sew alongside must in the flow, so that at all still reasonably fit on the slats filter sleeve and not drum herumschlabbert. Today I say in summary: Get wasted money! It shows once again the old truth: In hand tools and electrical appliances should not save on the wrong end - Quality pays despite the higher initial cost of the long term!
