Reference book for jams but also for recipes from the author. They are classified according to the seasons and very clearly explained. Some be content the more "traditional" in the kitchen, the other will satisfy the more adventurous curiosity. In all cases the result is excellent and the taste of the fruit is never altered. All are well thought out and measured. The brief preface gives some advice (especially for those who do not want too sweet jams). In short this book is perfect for those who want to embark on the great adventure of jams, who want to review their classics or even those who want to create their own recipes. I bought this book there are 15 days and I am in my 4th jam. The only problem is that you let them age even if they make you want to be experienced, preparing fruit to bottling!
