The Irish Imelda May is IMHO one of the most interesting discoveries of the moment; the problem is that it seems difficult to express in a few words all the good things about this accomplished artist. Love Tattoo, marketed in France since October 2011, is a novelty not be, since we happen in three years after its initial release. There are at the heart of this cake a mix of retro influences that make up a universe where voice is in perfect harmony with what continues and will continue to inspire artists: the good old time of rock'n'roll . The album is essentially this impeccable evocation itself enhanced by musicians for whom jazz, rockabilly or the Blues have no secrets. Just listen carefully to understand that Darrel Highman (her husband) to the six string and Al Beware the contrebesse there are many on the smoothness and uniformity of the whole. That said, and although excellent, the album is in my opinion slightly below Mayhem released last year and which already included "Johnny Got a Boom Boom". Ultimately recognition is at the appointment. Imelda May was voted Best Female Artist for Ireland Music Awards in 2009; she also won the Breakthrough Award at Classic Rock Awards 2010. Reassuring? Rewarding? Who cares! For these most lackluster time remaining able to enjoy a bit of freshness. This was the case with Jungle Blues CW Stoneking; it remains so today with this nice novelty. Should we not use it? I do not know you, but me it is out of the question!
