Background music for Carnival crashes

Sounds for fans first OK: Wolfgang Petry sings some of his old hits a new, the whole remixed in modern dance sound and throws the result - years after his official retirement from the music business - as a thank you for loyal followers to the market. Since you can not expect revolutionary, but a nice déjà vu with Wolles firecrackers is all in there.

The result surprised and disappointed but then übelst, regardless of whether you like the Petry and his music or not. New sung? Sounds more like the old master tapes were again dug out. It takes a lot of good will (or self-deception?) To discover the vocal parts something new. Neither is Petrys voice has developed yet the Good would otherwise intones as the originals. Say sounds canned.

Modern dance sound? The numbers are lined with dusty NEWTs-NEWTs-beat which might grad still went through in the 80s, but today is hopelessly outdated. And the four Quarter-tramp attracts quite varied freely through all tracks. Thank you for the faithful followers? Even die-hard fans express behave to upset about the CD, a joy should Petry so many of his followers have not prepared.

That artists turn to their own oeuvre and verwursten it varied, common practice and the singer is not to blame. Nor that this financial interests often are at the forefront - please, money does not smell, and no one is forced to buy this concoction. But what I find really modest, is the lack of love, with this totally inconsequential disc was zusammengekloppt, and the bungling musical realization. More than dumb hall sound system for the upcoming carnival days is not made - perhaps you had the CD better "for one more" to call ...
