Okay, the lamp body looks as opposed to halogen tube now a scarce centimeters from the case out, which is why there previously attached disk can not be mounted. Since the lamp but eh always shines down, that does not matter for me. You stahlt bright and wide, can be dimmed clean and consumed instead of wasteful 60-100 watts only those 5-8 !!! Toll! The light color is pleasant (on a wooden desk top). Something brighter than the halogen rods, but acceptable. I wish I had known this earlier design!
