I tested the drive with four ships:
* Pirate sailor 5238: Everything is coordinated, the ship is fast on the road and easy to control. It also goes without spacer, due to rough seas and wind but with better.
* Prey ship 5135: Yes, it works! Even without weight and spacers - but then steer wisely, so as not to capsize. Majestic slides the ship through the water, but is difficult to maneuver. Against the pirates sailors inertial load has no chance!
* Ferry 5127: Not just streamlined, the ferry is more slowly and less well controlled. Negative falls on mainly that the engine can only slowly backwards. Fun makes it anyway.
* Container Ship 4472: Departs fine and stable spacer is not necessary. Very good to maneuver, but not as fast as the pirates sailors.
With the device itself I had two problems: The contacts of the battery compartment are unreliable; only when I contact pins krummbog with pliers something, it runs reliably. Pairing the remote control is also defective, once I therefore had been a complaint, now a remote control unit has again problems. The narrowing down of the fault is difficult, because you can read the charge level of the batteries only at the controller, but only to a wireless connection required.
At the controller Playmobil should urgently install eyelets for belt or strap; since may fall into the water the part even with excited children not! Incomprehensible why the controller needs different batteries, I would like a battery-logistics for all.
Poor, I find the range, I have measured 25 meters. To make matters worse, the ship then tries to turn, not knowing, of course, where it needs to go, in other words you just then loses control when the going gets tough.
Conclusion: A toy addictive! We bought two pieces, for races and battles, and there is hardly a park visit in the not equal to a grape! Come children and "I-want-and-times" calls. A highly recommended toys, most with two sets of rechargeable batteries plus charger. Hopefully Playmobil whets even from the remaining gaps.
