I tested the product on Ubuntu (14.10 and 14.04) is immediately recognized.
No need configuration or driver (as usual :), it emulates a keyboard.
To note:
- I can configure the keyboard in French scanette through codes provided in the booklet of BCST-10 downloaded from the manufacturer's website.
- When scanette is out of range of the receiver dongle supplied with the scanned code is stored to be transmitted as soon as possible.
