The unit produced shortly after the first time a loud background noise, which changed depending on the posture. I guess a bearing fault, or this double fan strikes the housing. Since I have a frequency-dependent sound level meter, I measured times: Level 1 82 dB. Level 2: 85 dB. After a short time the camp begins to beat, the then 95 dB at 2 KHz and 2.5 KHz. (This is also about the overall level of dB C rating) Distance to the hairdryer here as in normal use. Directly on the air intake are the db on error 103. This just 5 minutes arise irrevesible hearing damage. 85 dB at a non-defective unit is not really quiet, but in than 15 minutes application time still acceptable. Our old travel hairdryer produces 75 dB in 1 level 2 only 82 dB and in stage. That would be "normal".
