From the first moments, the tone is set, the stage is set, the situation conducive to a climate of tension and questions. The reader already knows he will be dragged into an investigation without dead time, a quite peculiar and complicated investigation conducted because in fear, doubts and stalking: the total doing with the means at hand, a dynamic and nerve investigation in a sometimes electric atmosphere.
Amidst buildings, yellow taxis, major roads and skyscrapers, our protagonists will face difficult situations, trying to gather all the pieces together to try to understand what happens to them, try to save their skin.
The player meanwhile is in the middle of a race that multiplies surprises and twists, not to mention an investigation which takes a totally surprising turn, bringing out a painful past, reserving an outcome for the least expected.
The suspense is permanent, pace, careful writing, punctuated with pretty metaphors.
The "fantastic" side whose author is customary here is nonexistent, but who cares, reading is very nice, the imagination.
This is a book I recommend a book that offers a good relaxing time.
