This book is fascinating and remarkably well written. The only problem is that it seems to play both simultaneously: a) on one side, a detective story with well dosed suspense and an interesting plot, b) on the other, an essay on the excesses of the medical system and the incursion of the all-safe. It could have been better to actually insert the social criticism in the history of the characters, instead of inserts that slow down a little story.
