When installing the lamp, however, showed that the bottom plate
not lying flat on the desk, but having a small curvature,

Here I had to clear with a 2mm self adhesive foam rubber rectify as additional backing.
(The error can be seen by checking with an angle iron.)
The light from the lamp on the desk as I feel comfortable. However, this is a subjective opinion, since light can be perceived differently by each.
The functionality (movement of the arm and the lamp head) are very good. There are no creaking
or squealing noise when position changes audibly.
The operation of the individual light levels (dimming), as the night light are very good, a gentle touch of
corresponding panel is sufficient.
During the 1 hr. Timer panel visual feedback (on / off) would be highly desirable.
Power consumption (has been remeasured by me):
smallest brightness level: 4 Watt
medium level. , , , , : 6 Watt
biggest stage. , , , , : 8 Watt
Conclusion: 1 point deduction for the curved bottom plate. (Without the possibility of a self-help a reason to return)
1/2 point deduction for the non-existent response of 1 hr. Timer.
But I forgive 3 points, because not every customer has the possibility of Selbshilfe available.
