While I "Demigod" was me not entirely happy two and a half years ago, it create BEHEMOTH with their new album "The Apostasy" again more enthusiasm to rain! Alone the opener "Slaying the Prophets ov Isa" (Isa is the way the Arabic name for Jesus) lumbers already powerful wood in the Polish forests from. One might think that has not really changed much, to use the powerful choruses. Wow is not really bombastic, but to all felling very majestic and powerful! In "Prometherion" are again the slight oriental influences significantly, whereby this already of "Demigod" is accustomed. With "At the Left Hand ov God" also follows already the first highlight. The acoustic guitars are exceptionally awesome. After half a minute it is powerful ner on again and especially drummer Zbigniew Robert "Inferno" Prominski proves here that he really knows his trade, mainly because the Fill Ins at the beginning can not be truly human. Nergal pisses the anger and malice only way out of the body and for me the genius of songs like "Christians to the Lions" or "As above so below" the song has already achieved! The Blast storm reached with "philosophy of war" (the trained eye detects here immediately the German title ...) definitely a climax, while suddenly presented with "Be without Fear" from the rather more grooving page. In any case, very cool because so little encouraging greater variety! So much erfreudiger that with "Libertheme" (brilliant solo !!) the Groove Hammer is unpacked again. The next highlight is "Inner Sanctum" turn. The song you have to hear to detect the genius. The atmosphere is really incredibly bleak and even reached the morbidity of Celtic Frost current masterpiece "Monotheist". For the rest are here NEVERMORE frontman Warrell Dane rendezvous and gives some guest vocals for best. Finally you draw with "Christgrinding Avenue" again a proper ace up their sleeve that can come up with a powerful atmosphere and excellent melodies. BEHEMOTH fans, as well as every friend of extreme sounds likely to be disappointed in any case with "The Apostasy".
