The build quality is ok, but very heavy plastic. But since there is a bell you can live without that.
The rear of the bell is about 3cm with very thick, with the result that the bell a little further protrudes from the wall, as you'd expect from a high end expensive gongs.
The installation is quite simple, because as long as you know the wiring. As in Block my girlfriend for bell system is not documented, I had to try around a bit until I found the right cabling. In the description, however, clear dargestllt when batteries needs are and when to leave them out.
The setting of the gong is quite confusing. There are behind a hinged door only the battery chamber, 2 keys and a volume wheel. You have to read a little about all the possibilities to understand this gongs.
It is possible to connect 2 different bell circuits with 2 tones, but this is explained very awkward.
What is the engineers, however, have absolutely no thought to the end that you want the bell also frequently away from it all. For this you have to first open the flap, then hold a key for 2 seconds. Why this feature was not implemented externally with a switch on the housing, is beyond me. For operation there is therefore a point deduction.
