Software and service: 4 stars
When switching from the stand-by, it takes about 8 seconds until the picture appears. The switch from channel to channel is much faster - about 1 second - though without automatic short info-display on the mission that is currently running. I miss that already.
The remote control commands are converted afloat from a distance of about 4-5 meters, even if you stand slightly to the side.
The display of the remote control leaves a bit overloaded impression and many keys are not evident at first, but as the main channel, volume, or back home are clearly and easily accessible.
The buttons are not illuminated. The back of the unit the way either.
You go to the Internet via Wi-Fi, reception is good (12m and 1st floor). As long as the required function is represented by icons, it's also quickly and safely. But you need the keyboard for example, search terms on YouTube or Amazon to enter, things look bad and the pleasure disappears quickly: One has little by little through the alphabet, numbers and special characters work with the arrows to cumbersome and pass as quickly several minutes until you reach the goal.
Many apps are pre-installed and can be reached directly. Of course, it takes several seconds until the desired page is loading, but that's normal. Some apps run very slowly: When the app trailer the film is constantly interrupted and is actually inedible, but that is probably not the machine but on the slow internet connection, which is additionally hampered by the distance from the router. In the Amazon app there is no option for Prime Instant Video. This is annoying because the free offer for prime customers is very attractive and I use that often. Toshiba offers its own selection of films and videos, but it's unattractive, offers fewer choices and most of them are old ham or movies from the Public Domain, which interested no one. The trailer-App is also useless because the picture and sound are interrupted for a long time every 2 seconds. You Tube but runs smoothly up 720 P. fiber users may still be better off.
Image Quality: 5 stars
The default setting is matched perfectly clean.
Brilliant image, rich but natural colors, absolutely stable with 200 Hz, sharp edges, black black etc.
I am absolutely perfectly happy with the image, it does not seem to me possible to improve something in image quality.
Image comparisons
Our children have huge Sony and Samsung TVs that cost many times and loved it honestly from the image quality of our Toshiba. Also we do not feel at visits that these larger and more expensive equipment appreciably more comfort or image quality offer. But it may be that in direct comparisons in the store that looks different, but it is known that the image is often manipulated to influence purchase decisions in favor of the more expensive devices with bigger profit margins.
We have throughout the house in 4 bedrooms, lounge and party cellar TV sets, mostly older Philips, and 3 PCs with full HD and 28-inch screens from Philips and Eizo, but Toshiba is truly an experience.

Sound Quality: 4 stars
In absolute terms, the sound quality is rather 3 stars value: the internal speakers with 8 Watts are not able to provide sound space with sonority. That is normal. The theater experience is only concluded when (I Gaube there are 5) the Yamaha system with subwoofer and several speakers throughout the room turns. The internal preamplifier of the Toshiba is in my judgment qualitatively very good, especially considering the price.
But one must Anner know that the sound sounds very clean, not tinny or consumed and more than loud enough for approx. 30 m², with the stereo effect is very limited. In absolute terms, and for an internal sound system in this price range I would forgive smooth 5 stars.
Since most buyers will certainly join a supplementary system, consider both process and create an average of 4 stars. Would be quite correct but my opinion the sound quality in the price range to settle just above 4 stars.

Just Great. Homemade videos with our Sony camcorder (especially PJ780) are in the picture and sound absolutely class rendered with enormous presence and quality. Just perfect!
Anger can save yourself, if you save the Bider Files in the root directory of the USB stick and prevents the formation of sub-subfolders. Only a few keystrokes and you can play the desired file. This is also pretty fast.

It is not only very well equipped but also offers an enormous amount of functions (as a PC monitor, Internet TV, camcorder or photo playback ...). The image quality is a full success, the internal sound is customary class and fairly well.
There are a few Pünkte that are not as enjoyable as the cumbersome text input the internet, no access to Amazon Prime Instant Video, not many pre-installed apps, etc., but these are in the sum of details that do not harm the overall positive impression sufficiently to correct my full positive rating down.
The value for money I judge as outstanding.
