I read this book in English, there are fifteen. I do not remember the details, but I remember that this is an extraordinary book. Truman follows the journey of two truants, without aim, without life and without future. They murder a family of farmers and eventually executed. What is really extraordinary is that, at the end, one feels no hatred towards the two assassins. Rather than pity; and yet not Truman Capote wrote an apology to the two murderers. This is their story itself is pathetic. Taking, detailed, sober, extraordinary. perhaps the best book I have read.
