although I must say that I found the whole series super. Cassandra Clare improved from book to book. The actions are consistent and it all makes sense. Whoever reads attentively will see one or the other wow factor. The characters you just have to connect to the heart. Not only Jace and Clary but also any other. The Jace in the last part is almost impossible to compare with the first part I find understandable. From the cheeky, arrogant and already headless daredevil teen a thoughtful and serious young man was. Not surprising: -The Father a radical lunatic of his beliefs will prevail with all their might ... and thus the entire underworld and all the Nephilim wants to destroy in his way. -His First love which is more than forbidden for him. And he himself, apparently an experiment at a predetermined future without hope for a happy ending, and convinced of his own demonic side. -The End of days is imminent ...
So whoever has still fancy a cool spell. Would absolutely trite and inappropriate. Cassandra Clare lobs the emotions and sufferings of the characters represent a convincing and sensitive. Finally you even feel a touch of sympathy for Valentine ... Great series with an almost calm but dignified end.
