In version 3.1 Caustic provides, among other innovations, such as skins, the ability to route all the machines in the modular synth. From there, they can not only play, but also by the numerous modules (filters etc.) are sent. And if that's not enough, then you can create another modular synth and the first turn route in the second, etc. (keyword: Daisy Chain). One can thus create not only so very fat, but also very lively sounds. Meanwhile, all parameters can be automated as well as CC-Maps can create yourself. So you can eg. Use a controller from Korg Nano series with Caustic. Or of course, other controller / master Keybards, provided that Android hardware allows the connection.
In general it can be said that in addition to the Caustic sonic possibilities also provides a wonderfully thoughtful service. (You have to deal with it a little bit, of course.) For example, can be a double-touch to the right place either to the mixer or to the sequencer (and back!) Jump. So you need not only pushing up or down the whole rack. Also exemplary is the update policy, where it is not just about updates, but often to upgrades. It will not only eliminate errors, but also added new features. With version 3 and 3.1 include several new synth equaled it. With the announced version 3.2 then an even more extensive sample editor to be integrated and according to developers there will also be gradually more synths.
I would like to emphasize also that there Caustic not only for Android, but also for iOS and Windows. (The Windows version can be downloaded for free on the manufacturer's website.) It is possible presets and songs also exchange information between versions. That's fine, because you can work in the way for example. On the notebook or on Windows tablet with the app as well as. Under Android or iOS For example on your home PC when you create presets and / or want to handle with their own sample library, then the re-use in the mobile versions is not a problem. Those who wish can also (with correspondingly great expense) create your own skins and Caustic quite adapt to personal taste. And if that's not enough, then there are also free and paid content packs with presets and samples, which are easy to install as an app and then available under Caustic. Extensive it almost does not work!
I can every "Android-musician" advised only to download from Caustic and to purchase the Unlock Keys. Yes, with around 7 euros for the latter app ratios is not very cheap, but the value is more than okay. There's definitely nothing like Android. Okay, maybe FL Mobile, but that will cost the same twice and offers less. Caustic gets a very clear (buy) recommendation!
