It should be mentioned that I basically wet shave with foam. The old razor I have long experimented until I had the right shaving cream. Choosing the wrong product can be seen quickly to solid to liquid or sticky foam. In particular, resin residue in razors are disgusting and bothersome. Meanwhile, I use exclusively Palmolive shaving cream Classic (there is also here at Amazon in savings plan). Apply a pea-sized amount onto a wet shaving brush and apply directly on wet face. Then shave. Then hold the razor under running water to remove the visible residues. Remove shaving foils, hold again under the water and on for a few seconds. Pat dry, pack away.
By wet shave I have no problems with any heat build-up on the skin. It is also gentle. I can highly recommend. When traveling, I carry the shaving cream very sparingly on directly by hand. With brush but is better.
One battery charge lasts for two to three weeks by the way.
If I had known a year ago, began to weaken as the battery of the old shavi, how great this device is, I would have bought the much earlier. I can highly recommend him!
A word on the shaving brush: In the beginning I had a pig bristle brushes. That was not all bad but really too hard. Cheap badger hair brushes are not really expensive and well worth it. But just cheap copies smell initially like wet dog. This opens up after one or two weeks. One can largely wash out the smell with a mild shampoo. After two or three times by washing with shaving cream and the matter should be settled.
