Plus points:
- Compact, requires less space in the establishment
- Finally a luminosity which the term "lamp" deserves. One can thus still brighten any room, but definitely a step forward
- The twang of the coil, which is quite pronounced in the Gen2, I have not heard so far
Bad points:
- The remote control feels like a bunch of plastic waste. The keys are imprecise and rickety, the surface is crying out for cheap plastic
- The bulb itself is kept in glossy plastic - and looks anything but quality. The transparent body is to be among the sensitive surfaces
- The colors can be less accurate than with rules of Gen2, whether this is due to the remote control or the lamp I can not say
- The operating instructions is a bad joke to reinzustecken a plug and press the "I" button I do not need instructions - everything beyond that one must fish from the Internet.
- The LED module is still not removable which makes the lamp to a disposable product
Unfortunately, the "footprint" still pretty shaky and a mechanism to the beam angle in height to adjust would be chic.
Fortunately works SmartLink - now I control both lamps with the remote control of my Gen2.
All in all certainly a good light - but more attention to detail would have done her good. For the current price of 130, you can demand a higher quality of workmanship, LED modules have become a mass product.
