After having to make the WD MyCloud after 14 days of fighting to try to resolve a problem of unwanted disconnections, I dove for that little Synology accompanied by WD Red 3TB drive. This time stability is perfect. Immediately visible to the network after the first boot, it remains beyond repair. The DSM 5.1 software is a true full OS with many interesting applications such as Cloud Sync, Video and Photo Station and especially the monitoring software to manage professionally all IP camera. The customization options are many, I discover as you go. I do not regret my purchase.
