The theme is very well worked, where the author focuses on the actual attack. A short chapter on the history (the relations betw USA and Japan;. Occupation of Manchuria; oil embargo, etc.) and a longer part of the plan are also available.
The conclusion and interpretation is formulated quite remarkable and very good and consistent.
All this is complemented with some very insightful and detailed graphics that show, for example, the specific objectives of the Japanese.
Overall a very weiterempfehlendes book (of course only as long as one is the English speakers) and in my opinion this is the best book that walks alone on this issue.
