Negatives:

We play here no Resident Evil. No Silent Hill. We play not even a Dead Space (Part 1). The Evil Within is a tactical shooter against exaggerated designed monsters and machines as do only Japanese. Stalking, killing enemies from behind with finish-move, or deflect with a bottle throwing. I did not, I wanted a gripping story and fear continue to play in the evening. But it is only geballert and you end up back at the next safe place.
Before play through the game I was at 3 stars, but the story and the things that happen in the game are really good templates for a beautiful finish, with engaging drama. Here disappears one as says a strange thing, what does that suppose to mean? NOTHING AT ALL !! There is no resolution at the end, you do not even know who is alive and who is dead. Sure, you can be much thinking, but I do not want everything to me to think ?! Man playing the same old level and it happens all the same 15 (!) Chapters long. Playing time is approximately 15 hours übrigends.
We are fighting with all their might by masses of enemies with tactical elements and 4-5 different weapons. I wanted to know at least how it ends, but again there was no reward. So what I like about the game? Honestly? Looks quite nice ... the rest is just exaggerated and absurd combat Brutal Japanese monsters.
