Between fantasy and dystopia, the novel introduces us to the world of Kimlay participating in the new edition of the Run. The goal is simple: stay alive and win. Because if she wins, she will realize his greatest wish. And I mean literally. So, of course, you can imagine that this is not to climb into a car and go around a circuit. Already, because there is no car in this world, but aldaplanes; and then, because the circuit in question, it is the world that has invented the author.
The girl will go through desolate and dangerous lands, who will face journeys his life and those of his teammates involved. It will not be bored, and neither do we! I turned the pages at breakneck speed, always wanting to know what happens next, and who will win this crazy race. The pace is frantic, palpitations were at the rendezvous, and I even had a few tears on some really touching scenes.
As for the characters, they are very well worked, and sought after. Kimlay is not like "nice well-behaved girl." It is even quite the opposite, to believe that all rightful and only its goal to her account, even ignoring the others. She really goes for a rude girl, and I love that! He needed a few slaps to the back into place, and the author does is not embarrassed!
Other characters also liked me as Zath or Ossian and Sidnay, the twin sister of Kimlay, which surprised me at several points in the story.
In short, an excellent novel. It was the first time I read this author in this genre rather dystopian and I love it for its style and fluidity of his pen. I reread quickly, I think. Finally, it is still necessary that there be other outlets, as I think I've read almost everything! At work, Hina :-)
