After a first cut in the polar ice, a second in the Water element, this is her third more psychological novel. Bernard Minier has already proven to be an outstanding writer in the polar-thriller genre, it turns into a thriller-master in mixing and psychological thriller. We feel a very great intelligence and enormous culture, but it does not display and use it only for skillfully enrich the narrative. Writing is always sharpened, one feels very refined and meticulous work on every page. It is a real pleasure to see the characters in his first novel, which seem to go in the background but ... I let you discover. The moods carry us to the heart of a very cleverly constructed story, leaving us enough clues to try to unravel the mystery to the end. A more complex novel, denser and more "psychological" than previous ... very striking! Personally I place between icy, which remains my favorite, and the circle. In short: An excellent psychological thriller, rich and intelligent. BRAVO and THANK Mr. Minier!
