Modern Metal as it was meant to sound. Sad, desperate, a little self-centered - and ingenious.

The music is melodic and hard at the same time. Soulful while wutdurchtränkte Hymns to the despair, underlaid with Scream-parts that have it in them.

The music is the classic modern metal board - but not in the pejorative sense - rather, Scars of Life make this genre everything that can be do with it. But what the band gives its personal touch is especially the singing. Effortlessly change the singer between quiet sung passages and infernal screaming, without ever losing the dimension and let slip a song in noise.

The mood that runs through the songs is associated with an infallible sense of the ups and downs, especially of human feeling expressed.
