1) install the language pack "English" (cough it up MS) once.
2) enable the user interface (menus, shortcuts, etc.) English, once.
3) play combination "Alt + Shift Left.", Possibly several times, until you have the keyboard "EN" active, visible in the taskbar. Repeated application of this combination allows a cyclical rotation between available keyboards, for example "EN" for using the R800, then "FR" to use our good old French keyboard text entry.
It works.

Very poorly designed, confusion use.
Again, designers are not users, although unfortunately.
We despair of these designers and other designers finally broken in the quality of basic principles (fitness for use, poka yoke, in this case). This would make our lives so much easier.
May they at least read and understand the opinion of users, from time to time. :-)
