The Palatine Prog metallers Vanden Plas working on her new album as in the rock opera "Blood Night" with fantasy author Wolfgang hollow leg together. Basically, "Chronicles of the Immortals-Netherworld" a Vanden Plas interpretation of the stage piece with great cover that can also be turned upside down due to the mirror world. One of the best artworks of the band in my opinion, all of which are really good! Musically you feel as a fan of the troops directly home, but missed the entire season some variety in terms of speed and a little metal factor. You notice already on the intro "Vision" with a lot of spoken word and slow piano music that this is a different disk. Epic, a quiet and sacred the material seems to me. It was just in the original a musical, which is now almost alone sung by frontman Andy Kuntz. Alone the choruses of "A Ghost Requiem" make me the creeps. The unknown to me, a guest singer ("A Ghost Requiem") fits well into the concept. Occasional metallic eruptions ending as quickly as they would have come for my taste though can be used more often, but the listening is not very turbid. Next year will follow, I'm excited a second part!
